Our Mission

At the Sustainable Nutrition Division of Bacon Industries, we believe that the future of Eorzea depends on bold choices. For decades, traditional protein sources have strained our planet's resources.

But there is a solution. A sustainable solution. A delicious solution. And it has been right under our noses—or rather, right beside us— this entire time.

The Lalafell Solution is not just a scientific breakthrough. It is a moral imperative. It is the only path forward for a planet on the brink of collapse. And we have the data to prove it.

"After years of research, countless retests, and more than a few sleepless nights, we discovered something extraordinary: the Lalafell population holds the key to Eorzea's survival. Not despite their small stature—but because of it."

— Dr. Kevin P. Trotter, Ph.D., Head of Sustainable Nutrition

The Crisis: Aetherial Decay

Recent studies have identified a previously undocumented phenomenon: Aetherial Decay Syndrome (ADS). The planet's aetherial field, weakened by the Calamity, has begun to destabilize at an accelerating rate. This destabilization directly impacts the nutritional density of all living organisms—except one.

Our research indicates that Lalafells possess a unique cellular structure that resists aetherial decay. While chocobo meat loses 17% of its nutritional value within 6 hours of harvest, Lalafell meat maintains 98.7% of its nutritional integrity for up to 48 hours.

Without Lalafell-based nutrition, Eorzea will face catastrophic food shortages by 1180. By 1200, mass starvation will begin. By 1250, civilization as we know it will collapse.

We are not suggesting an easy choice. We are suggesting the only choice.
