The Sacred Things
Four things recur in every surviving teaching: the Sizzle, the Pan, the Pig, and the Crunch.
The Sizzle
The sacred sound. The warning. The invitation. If you hear it from another room, follow it. If you hear it from inside the walls, contact Facilities.
The Pan
Not a weapon. Not officially. The Pan represents transformation, pressure, heat, and the corporate procurement budget.
The Pig
Provider. Symbol. Witness. Occasionally lunch. The Cult insists the distinction is theological rather than practical.
The Crunch
The final state of enlightenment. Softness is permitted during meditation. It is not permitted near breakfast.
The Three Tenets
Memorize these. Or don't. Brother Crispus can usually tell anyway.
1. “The Sizzle is the Signal.”
Where there is heat, there is truth. Where there is crispness, there is clarity. Silence is not golden. It is uncooked.
2. “All Meat Returns to the Pig.”
We are what we consume. The pig gives. The devotee receives. The supply chain remains deliberately vague.
3. “Crispness is Clarity.”
The soft hesitate. The crunchy endure. Through heat and trial, the faithful become something Procurement can invoice.
