Provider. Symbol. Witness. The oldest texts are remarkably confident about the Pig and remarkably unclear about what the Pig actually is.
One interpretation
The Pig is the face of the Sizzle: the form through which an unknowable presence can be understood.
Another interpretation
The Pig is merely the first creature to understand the Sizzle.
A third interpretation
The Pig is lunch. The Cult insists this is theological nuance rather than contradiction.
